About Us
Welcome to Nintendo Kent! We are an independent, non-profit Nintendo gaming community in Kent, England! We want to bring Nintendo gamers from around the county together and foster a safe, family-friendly gaming environment.
We host fortnightly events at the Millmead Hall in Margate, where you can join us for gaming, snacks, tournaments, events and more!
Run by founders Liam, Reuben and Matthew, with organisation and coordination help from our friends.

The Rules
Nintendo Kent is a public community-lead organisation run by unpaid volunteers. We do this for the love of our community and pay the venue costs and purchase all equipment out of our own pockets, all to run free-entry events for all of you. Whilst we encourage anyone and everyone with a love for gaming and community engagement to join our events, we also maintain a strict no-tolerance policy for bullying, discriminatory and/or threatening behaviour at our events.
All equipment such as monitors, games consoles, games, controllers, etc. – is owned by the volunteers who kindly provide access to it for no charge. Additionally; tables, chairs, and other facilities at the venue are owned by Millmead Hall and the Thanet Council. Please be respectful.
You can:
- Bring your own games, handheld consoles, snacks or drinks. As long as you bring everything home with you.*
- Reach out to volunteers if you ever feel uncomfortable, unsafe or excluded at any of our events.
- Discriminate against or harrass other guests or volunteers based on protected characteristics such as sex, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, religion, or ability.
- Bully or demean other guests or volunteers beyond the limits of friendly banter
- Litter, steal or damage property in or around the venue.
- Withold a game or activity from another guest. If a volunteer asks you to give someone else a chance, we expect you to listen and respect this decision.
- Consume alcohol, cigarettes, vapes or other drugs or illicit substances at any of our events.
- Drop off children under-16. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
* Please be aware that all personal property brought to Nintendo Kent is done so at your own discretion. Nintendo Kent does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to guests’ property that occurs in the venue.
